• Build, assemble, and modify robotic systems, robot arms, fixtures, sensors, cameras, and lab equipment.
• Install, route, and test cable harnesses while ensuring safe and reliable system operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hardware issues alongside engineering teams.
• Support equipment setup, hardware integration, testing, and lab expansion projects.
• Read schematics, technical drawings, and build instructions to complete projects accurately.
• Help create and maintain an organized, safe, and efficient robotics lab environment.

• 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in robotics, automation, electronics, aerospace, medical devices, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or a related field.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, cabling, or hardware integration.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, crimpers, multimeters, calipers, soldering equipment, and other technical tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for building and fixing things.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.

• Robotics, automation, machine building, or lab equipment
• Cable harness fabrication and connector work
• Soldering, crimping, or low-voltage wiring
• PLCs, CAD, 3D printing, or fixture design
• Startup, R&D, or prototype environments

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
