Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

CNA - Long Term Care/SNFMinimum 1 year of CNA experience required Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required Active CNA certification/license required and must be on file at submission AHA BLS Certification required Must work every other weekend No call requirements 7-year background check completed within 18 months of start date required FACIS Level 3 and New York State background check completed within 30 days of start required Complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required All employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained Reliable transportation required Procedures Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, ambulation, and repositioning; obtaining and documenting vital signs; monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition; assisting with transfers and mobility; maintaining a safe and clean resident environment; providing emotional support and companionship; documenting care accurately; assisting nursing staff with resident care needs; adhering to infection control practices and safety standards; and promoting resident comfort, dignity, and quality of life while working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
