Schedule: Full time, Part Time and Casual
Hours: Daylight Shift

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants who have a heart for helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe and independent in their homes.

Job Summary

A Caring Companions Heart Home Support Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client in Fox Chapel. The PCA will assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), promote independence, and ensure the client's safety, comfort, and well-being while maintaining dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing and personal hygiene
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Feeding or meal assistance as needed
Prepare light meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
Assist with medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized).
Observe and report changes in the client's physical or mental condition.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow the client's individualized care plan.
Adhere to agency policies, HIPAA regulations, and all state requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
Need to have reliable transportation to and from work
