Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) | Miami, Florida

Provide advanced respiratory care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in the NICU/PICU at a premier Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center located in Miami, FL. This travel opportunity allows you to deliver critical respiratory treatments using cutting-edge equipment within a collaborative multidisciplinary team committed to exemplary patient outcomes.


Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, medication delivery, and advanced care for neonatal and pediatric patients with respiratory diseases.
• Operate high-flow devices, 3100A ventilators, Bunnell, Servos, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and standard nebulizers.
• Document care thoroughly using Meditech electronic health records.
• Collaborate with a team led by a Director, Manager, and charge therapist, maintaining flexible coverage to assist adult floors as needed.
• Adapt quickly to the fast-paced environment while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with active credentials.
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Previous NICU/PICU experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, multidisciplinary care environment.
• Critical thinker with a focus on patient-centered care and adaptability to change.
