Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Responsibilities As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Services, you will provide compassionate, prompt, and high‑quality acute care to a wide range of patient populations: neonatal, infant, early childhood, late childhood, adolescent, young adult, middle adult, and older adult. Protect Patient Information: Access to demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and complete medical records must be handled in accordance with HIPAA and institutional privacy policies. Exposure & Safety: All employees are at occupational risk for bloodborne pathogens. You will be required to follow strict protocols regarding blood, bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting or moving patients, and repetitive hand and arm movements; exposure to biological, chemical, blood, and bodily fluid hazards. Qualifications Current state RN license. Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. BLS certification. ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire. Preferred: One year of clinical experience. Schedule Shift options include 3x12, 4x10, or 5x8 rotations with day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) shifts, rotating weekends, every third weekend, all weekends, on‑call, and holidays.
