Social Media Manager

The Missouri Reign

As the Social Media Manager for the Missouri Reign, you will be the driving force behind our official online presence, working to promote the team and engage with fans across various platforms and keep them up to date. This role will work closely with the Content Manger. We are looking to bring on two people for this position. This individual needs to be dedicated and committed to spending team with the team over the summer. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Live Coverage: Be present at games and events to provide live coverage on social media platforms. Interact with fans in real-time, responding to comments, questions, and creating an interactive and vibrant online community. Content Creation: Post and develop game day presets to ensure league requirements are met. Have graphics ready to go on game days, pre-games, etc. to ensure fans stay up to date with everything AFC and Reign related. Collaboration with Media Team: Work closely with the media team to align social media content during the game days, to keep fans following on social media up to date. Help upload live photos from photographers. Help upload any important stats from statistician. Collaboration with Board and Staff: Work closely with the board, coaching staff, and other team members to align social media content with overall team messaging and goals. Coordinate promotional campaigns and ideas with staff and board to help have a larger online presence. Fan Engagement: Develop strategies to increase fan engagement and grow the team's social media following. Foster a positive and inclusive online community for fans to connect and share their passion for the Missouri Reign. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the performance of content and campaigns. Provide regular reports and insights to management, adjusting strategies based on performance data. Creativity and Innovation: Bring a fresh and innovative perspective to social media content creation. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns. Qualifications Proven experience in social media management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and game days. Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
