Our team designs systems that integrate engine and cooling interfaces into our machine platforms.Typical Task BreakdownUpon receipt of project, determine scope and necessary actionsPerform Creo 3D modeling and change notification processCollaborate with other system teams for space claim as neededCollaborate with operations to "Go, See, Act" for factory related issuesReview field history and implement lessons learnedCoordinate updates to drawings and engineering notices.Work with cross-functional teams to schedule production implementation.Education & Experience RequiredYears of experience: 2 yearsDegree requirement: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required. Can accept Masters but the required years of experience will still be 2 yearsTop 3 SkillsMechanical aptitudeDelivering results while working multiple projectsDriving urgency with every projectAdditional Technical SkillsAbility to read engineering drawings and schematics requiredKnowledge of engineering processes, drawing standards and specifications requiredProficiency in Creo (Pro/E) modeling and simulation tools (or equivalent)Knowledge and experience with problem solving – determining root cause, troubleshooting, concept generation, etc.Product development experience including product design, validation test and/or simulationDemonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross functional teams and deliver proven, high-quality, cost-effective designs within committed timelines.Mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts.Proficiency in TeamCenter or equivalent software (release workflow tool)Ability to perform Creo Simulate analysis (or equivalent)Soft SkillsCreativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilityPresentation experiences – ability to create & present stakeholder updatesTeam player and detail orientedAbility to work independently and manage one's time efficientlyPay TransparencyThe typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $36.00 - $37.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
