Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through expert clinical care and teamwork. Manage complex medical conditions in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer bedside care, including monitoring vital signs and adjusting treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond swiftly to emergency situations and intervene with advanced nursing skills.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid state or compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience; Med Surg experience considered with 1 year.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
