Enterprise ArchitectKoniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide Cemetery Enterprise Application Support (CEAS) across the evolving Cemetery Management suite of cloud applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) and demonstrate a commitment to supporting our nation's military cemeteries with the highest standards of excellence.Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:Provide Enterprise Architecture (EA) support in accordance with the DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) for cemetery management and business systemsSupport OCIO strategic planning initiatives and align IT investments with strategic goals and objectivesParticipate in and support the Enterprise Architecture Governance Board (EAGB)Develop and maintain architecture artifacts and documentation in compliance with DODAF standardsSupport the Project Management Office in managing the development and operations of IT-based cemetery management systemsAssist with change management and governance processes, including support to the Change Control Board (CCB)Conduct inter-agency coordination with external cemetery stakeholdersSupport the migration, operations, and maintenance of the evolving Cemetery Management suite of cloud applicationsDefine and establish business processes that support cemetery operationsEnsure all architecture deliverables meet the special requirements and high standards expected for national military cemetery operationsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university; or 7 years of experience in related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise ArchitectureMinimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience with the latest DOD/DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF) and its application to enterprise systemsStrong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, frameworks, and best practicesDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain architecture artifacts and documentationExperience with cloud-based application architectures and migrationsExcellent understanding of IT governance processes and change managementProven ability to align IT investments with organizational strategic goals and objectivesExperience supporting governance boards and change control processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levelsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality, given the sensitive nature of military cemetery operationsExperience with inter-agency coordination and stakeholder managementProficiency in creating technical documentation and presentations for executive audiencesKnowledge of DoD and Army IT policies, directives, and standardsClearance Requirement:Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearanceOther responsibilities :Perform other duties as assigned by leadership teamOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
