Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience License: - RN License (New York License ONLY) Certifications: - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) - Moderate Sedation Trained - Dysrhythmia - Telemetry Must-Have: - Experience with TAVR, Microclip, and Watchmen - Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever - Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD - Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA - Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required Description: The Cath Lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. This facility operates multiple Cath and EP labs catering to adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The Cath Lab features a comprehensive program with pre- and post-procedural care holding areas. The practice model includes a rich array of RN staff collaborating with CVTs to emphasize excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. Candidates should possess strong technical skills and be adept in various cardiac procedures and interventions. Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment is preferred. Cardiovascular certification or RCES is a plus.
