Job Title: Mechatronics & Robotics Technician
Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will use your skills to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
• Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
• Enter downtime data in daily log and complete PM sheets.
• Manage work orders within a CMMS system and have knowledge of basic components.
• Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment.
• Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2 years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 2 years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• 2 years of experience following and demonstrating safety standards.
• 1 year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
• Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2 years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
• 2 years of experience working with PLC-based control systems.
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

Work Environment

Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Performance is tracked by data and numbers, ensuring expectations are met without micromanagement. Be prepared to walk approximately 10,000 steps per day and lift up to 49 pounds. Candidates must be open to any 10-hour shift, with positions available across all shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
