Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

SCHEDULE
Evenings - 12-hour shift: 11a-11p
One weekend shift per month

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract duration: 16 weeks
Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- Active and clear RN License in New York
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- 2 years of OR RN experience
- Experience with primarily adult patients
- Must have robotic experience
- EPIC experience required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
- Assist in surgical procedures and collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition during procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families regarding pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a professional demeanor.
