Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Location: Sacramento, CA
Setting: Operating Room (OR)
Term: 1 month, with the possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $230/hr
Shift Schedule: Multiple shift options are available: Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, 7am-7pm, 9am-7pm, 11am-9pm, 1pm-11pm. Weekend coverage as needed. No Call.

Job Overview:
A leading hospital in Sacramento, CA, is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join their team. You will be responsible for covering General, B&B, Orthopedic, and Neuro/Spine cases. No Cardiac or OB cases required.

Qualifications:

Active California CRNA License
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
DEA license
Board Certification
Proficiency in EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments
Educate patients and families on the anesthesia process and post-operative recovery
Administer anesthesia via various methods (injection, inhalation, oral)
Monitor patient vitals and adjust anesthesia levels as needed during procedures
Ensure patient safety during recovery from anesthesia
Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment
Accurately document patient care in medical records
Stay updated on the latest anesthesia practices and procedures
