Daily Census: 20 Rooms: 20 Beds: 20 Ratios: Days - 1:5 Nights - 1:10 Weekends - 1:7 Years of Experience Required: 1 year Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Y Float Required: Y - Per facility need Weekend Coverage: Every Other Locals Accepted: N - must be greater than 75 miles Certifications: BLS Skills: LTC, Assist with ambulation, Assist with feeding patient, Assist with turning and repositioning, Bed shampoo, Change linens (occupied, unoccupied), Complete Bed bath, Decubitus care prevention, Foot care, Incontinence/elimination care, Mouth care, Perineal care male/female, Shave patient, Shower assistance, Skin care, Antiembolic stockings, Bedpan/urinal, Bedside commode, Heel and elbow protection, Hospital beds, Hoyer lift, Oxygen tanks, Pulse oximeter, Transfer belt, Transfer sliding boards, Wheelchair, Cleaning of equipment, Donning and removing PPE, Isolation precautions, Measures/record weight, Obtain blood pressure, including orthostatic, Obtain temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, tympanic), Routine catheter care (indwelling and external catheters), Turning and positioning patient, Fluid restrictions, Lifting and pulling proper body mechanics, NPO status, Passive range of motion, Recognizing cardiac arrest, Safe patient transfers, Stock supplies, Bathing/hygiene, Diet intake/calorie count, Drain output, Reporting change in patient condition, Turning/repositioning, Urine output measures and records Orientation is held during the day their first week.
