How you'll make an impact in this role

• Clinical Leadership: Coordinate unit staffing and lead specialized nursing areas to ensure high-quality patient care and clinical objectives are met.
• Shift & Resource Management: Direct, educate, and assign duties to nursing and support staff while securing necessary materials, resources, and supplies.
• Patient Care Planning: Assess daily patient needs to create appropriate care assignments, optimize productivity, and adjust to shifting patient and physician dynamics.
• Issue Resolution: Exercise independent judgment to resolve patient care complaints through established organizational channels.
• Staff Development: Provide valuable input regarding the hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of unit staff.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire
  date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
