Work Environment\n

This role will be primarily conducted remotely, allowing for a flexible work schedule while still providing direct and impactful support to clients. Our outpatient office ensures a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, where communication is key. The work hours are generally Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required to meet the needs of clients. On-call availability for urgent situations may also be necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental, emotional, and social needs of clients.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and case managers, to ensure holistic care integration.

• Regularly connect with clients through virtual visits to monitor their mental health and living conditions.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and care plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Educate clients and their families about coping strategies, available support services, and community resources.

• Stay updated on current best practices and policies in social work and mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Therapist will work primarily with seniors and their families, addressing a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Understanding the unique challenges faced by elderly clients, such as isolation and chronic health issues, the therapist will provide empathetic support and practical strategies aimed at enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current LCSW licensure in the state of Kansas.

• At least two years of experience in a mental health or social work role, preferably working with elderly clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 60,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
