Specialty:    Board Certified Interventional Radiologist (2 needs)

\n

Client: VAMC

\n

Location:   San Antonio, TX

\n

Schedule/Shifts Times: Mon – Fri (7am – 4pm)

\n

Call Requirements: will share in call rotation 1:2
% inpatient / % outpatient: Primarily inpatient hospital-based with procedural focus
Patient Volume: 6-8 procedures per day avg
Patient Ages: Adults only

Types of Cases:  Full spectrum Interventional Radiology procedures including:

\n

\n
• Biopsies (lung, liver, bone, soft tissue)
\n
• Drain placements (abscess, biliary, nephrostomy)
\n
• Vascular access & catheter placements
\n
• Angioplasty, embolization, thrombectomy
\n
• Dialysis interventions
\n
• GI and hepatobiliary procedures
\n

Support Staff: Additional Radiologist, RN support, admin support
Procedures Required:

• Vascular & Endovascular
\n
• Embolization
\n
• Transcatheter & Image-Guided Interventions
\n
• Biopsies
\n
• Drainage & Fluid Management
\n
• GI / Hepatobiliary Interventions
\n
• Renal & Urologic IR
\n
• Pulmonary / Pleural
\n
• Specialty / Advanced Techniques
\n

Type of Charting: EMR - CPRS
Requirements: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology, BLS, ACLS, DEA,  Any State License
