Description We are currently seeking experienced MD (Medical Doctor) and DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Hospitalists. As a Hospitalist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients within the hospital setting. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the care of hospitalized patients, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges. Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. Perform medical procedures as needed, such as intubations, central line placements, and lumbar punctures. Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely intervention and stabilization. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and communicate effectively with team members. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care. Stay current with medical research, guidelines, and best practices to deliver evidence-based care. Requirements Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Ilwaco. Proven experience working as a Hospitalist in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care model. Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and safety. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
