Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time)./ppPay Range: $17.50 - $21.47/ppScheduled Weekly Hours: 20/ph3Position Overview/h3pShift: 3:00pm-11:30pm/ph3Essential Functions:/h3ulliFollowing patient evaluation by a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist, carries out patient activity as directed by the Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist who works in conjunction with Patient Services staff./liliUnder direction of Registered Nurse, supports and encourages improved activity levels for patients as medically indicated./liliPerforms assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Performs and assists with patient handling maneuvers, as delegated by a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist. Demonstrates proper safe patient handling techniques./liliUtilizes patient handling equipment, transfer devices and protective equipment in compliance with hospital policies and patient handling protocols while utilizing proper body mechanics and observation. Records and provides data to analyze key performance indicators./liliEnsures a safe and secure environment through interventions and routine observations. Adheres to nursing policies and procedures, organizational goals and objectives./li/ulh2Minimum Requirements:/h2ulliEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent./liliExperience: One year previous experience as a nurse aide in a health care setting OR less than one year experience and enrolled in an accredited school of nursing./liliOther Credentials: AHA BLS. Non-Licensed must obtain before end of orientation period./liliKnowledge and Skills: Able to speak and read English. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team./liliSpecial Training: Successful completion of Safe Patient Handling Orientation upon hire. Basic Computer skills./liliMental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities: Independent and self directed.
