Pediatrics Physician

An experienced Pediatrician is needed on a locum tenens basis to provide periodic coverage for a private practice in Glendale, AZ. The solo physician/owner needs support, several days per week, regularly, with some longer stretches due to vacations, etc. The clinic is open 9a-6 most days, with some 9a-1p days, as well as on Saturdays. Must be able to work some Saturdays and be willing to occasionally take pager call from home after clinic hours when the physician is traveling. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Pediatric provider who is focused on providing excellent patient care and practices evidenced-based medicine. A solid grasp of EHR systems/technical systems is an asset. Strong communication skills are a must. About the Practice: - Solo Practitioner Environment - Volume of 19-25 patients/day, but can vary - Full Days are 9a-6p, half days are 9a-1p - 1 hr unpaid lunch on full days - E-Clinical Works EHR - After-hours phone call from home may be needed Offering: -Hourly Compensation/1099 -Complimentary Medical Malpractice Coverage Provided -Personalized Credentialing Support -Weekly pay via Direct Deposit Requirements: -AZ License -Board Certification -Ideally 3-5 years of Pediatrics Experience -BLS/PALS required -Local candidate/within drive-in distance required If this sounds like a good fit for you, I look forward to hearing from you today.
