The role includes assisting with personal care, monitoring resident needs, and supporting treatment plans under the direction of licensed staff. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:Resident Support: Assist residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobilityCare Monitoring: Observe resident conditions and report changes to nursing staff during rounds and shift updatesMeal Assistance: Deliver meal trays, help residents eat, and provide between-meal nourishment as neededSafety Measures: Maintain a clean, organized environment and remove hazards to support resident safetyRoom Care: Make beds, change linens, organize belongings, and assist with room cleanlinessTransport Assistance: Move residents safely by wheelchair or stretcher and escort them to appointments or activitiesInterested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 80 hours biweeklyWork hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM) and 3rd shift (10:45 PM to 7:15 AM), with a 30-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; orSix months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.Additional Requirement:You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
