Pass Physical Capacities Assessment. Special Considerations Valid Driver's License Hours 8 hour position – Full Time 3.5 hour position – Part Time Work hours and location to be determined upon hire. Monday – Friday Starting Date / Wages August 31, 2026 $17.06 – $22.45 per hour (placement determined by experience per LESPA Contract) Brief Description of Duties The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the food preparation, set‑up, serving, and clean‑up of a school kitchen, cafeteria, and other food service areas. Essential Functions Assist in the preparation of food as directed or assigned. Set up serving items and areas. Serve food, keeping quantities replenished for continuous serving. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of food serving area. Assist with cleanup, food storage, dishwashing, and storage of tools and equipment. Clean food serving areas, sinks, and tables after use. Stock food supplies. Work harmoniously with others and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. Perform tasks requiring hand‑eye coordination and dexterity in carrying, positioning, grasping, and operating equipment, utensils, and materials. Read and follow instructions, manuals, and recipes. Operate computer to enter student account data. Understand, interpret, and follow instructions accurately.
