Security Engineering Manager

Leading a specialized team of security engineers, the full-time remote Security Engineering Manager will manage application security, cloud security, and AI system security initiatives while translating technical risks into actionable strategies that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Manage, mentor, and develop a team of security engineers while conducting performance evaluations Define and execute a security engineering roadmap that aligns with product engineering needs and business initiatives Champion shift-left security practices and own application security tooling to systematically address vulnerabilities Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling, guiding engineering teams on remediation Deep understanding of securing cloud-native applications and services on AWS Working knowledge of OWASP LLM Top 10 and security considerations for AI systems Experience with AI-assisted security tools to enhance team output Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO/SOC, PCI, and FedRAMP
