About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required License: Must have appropriate nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: PICC/Midline certified preferred Description: The registered nurse will work in Interventional Radiology. This position is for 40 hours a week. The nurse will have varying shifts starting between 0700 and 0830 on call days. Weekend call is about every 4-5 weeks. Weekday call is approximately once a week. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring procedural sedation. Starting and maintaining IVs will be part of the job responsibilities. Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge is necessary. Candidates should have travel experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential. The nurse will work with a patient ratio of 1:1. Candidates should be comfortable proceeding without a prior interview process. References to support required experience will be needed. The role involves potential exposure to various patient diagnoses and special procedures.
