OB/GYN Hospitalist

Pediatrix & Obstetrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated OB/OBGYN Hospitalist to join their well-established community-based obstetric program in the Phoenix metro area. This role offers a dynamic, high-acuity environment with a focus on work-life balance, including 24/7 in-house obstetric care at Honor Health Shea Scottsdale. The position is ideal for physicians seeking to expand procedural experience and maintain a broader skillset, with opportunities to tailor practice interests.

• Provide 24/7, in-house obstetric care at Honor Health Shea Scottsdale
• 100% inpatient focus, no outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Great coverage structure with 2 physicians on at all times
• Established 8-physician team with excellent camaraderie and mentorship
• 6,000 annual deliveries at a busy, well-established program, with Level III NICU support

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7, in-house obstetric care
• Manage OB ED, unassigned patients, and community OB support
• Assist with cesarean deliveries as needed
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Practice OB only, or expand into GYN by working with our sister hospital at Sonoran Crossing

Requirements

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Previous OB Hospitalist Experience Preferred
• Ability to obtain AZ medical licensure
