Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neurosurgeon, you will help patients receive life-changing neurological care so they can regain function, improve their quality of life, and find healing.

Every day you will diagnose and treat complex disorders of the nervous system and spine. You will be expected to perform advanced surgical procedures with precision and compassion, utilizing cutting-edge technology and adhering to the highest standards of medical ethics.

To be successful in this role, you must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery, hold an unrestricted Colorado medical license, and possess demonstrated expertise in a broad range of neurosurgical interventions.
  • Diagnose and manage patients with complex neurological conditions requiring surgical intervention.
  • Perform a comprehensive range of neurosurgical procedures for the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves.
  • Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, intensivists, and rehabilitation specialists.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergent neurosurgical coverage as required.
Job Requirements

Required
  • Doctorate (MD or DO) in Neurological Surgery
  • Successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty (Neurological Surgery)
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
  • Be board certified or eligible in Neurological Surgery by a board acceptable to Hospital
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Colorado
