Office Manager / Creative Admin

We're hiring a dependable Office Manager to run the daily operations of our St. Paul office and back up our finance team with bookkeeping. One day you're restocking the kitchen and coordinating vendors, the next you're auditing expense reports and catching a discrepancy nobody else noticed. If that mix sounds like your speed, keep reading. We're a small company in a growth phase, and this role is being rebuilt from the ground up. You'll report directly to a longtime member of our executive team, so you'll get real autonomy alongside real support while you shape how this role works. We're only considering local candidates. If you're not within commuting distance of St. Paul on day one, we won't be able to offer relocation support. Responsibilities Maintain a welcoming office: stocked kitchen, working supplies, functioning coffee Manage vendor relationships and oversee facility upkeep Handle general administrative tasks: filing, scheduling, event planning, travel arrangements, and greeting visitors Own daily bookkeeping data entry and maintain accurate financial records Audit credit card bills and verify expense reports to catch discrepancies Produce financial reports and manage secure financial documentation Provide backup support to Finance and HR as needed Keep all financial record-keeping compliant with regulatory and confidentiality standards Requirements Experience in office administration and bookkeeping (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, not required) Strong time management and the ability to prioritize and follow up without being told twice Ability to work on-site in St. Paul 100% of the time from day one, including occasional lifting of 30 to 50 lbs High proficiency with macOS, secure email, and document encryption Advanced Excel skills and general comfort with MS Office Solid fundamental math skills and a genuine eye for financial precision Ability to maintain strict confidential standards when handling sensitive business, legal, financial, and personal documents.
