Title : Harness Design Engineer
Location: Griffin, Georgia (Onsite)

Job Summary

• Design and develop wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical systems for industrial and heavy equipment applications.
• Create and maintain harness assembly drawings, wiring groups, and related electrical components.
• Support new product development and engineering changes for existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, manufacturability, and compliance with design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, release, and maintain harness assembly drawings, wiring groups, and related electrical components.
• Create and manage Engineering Data System (EDS) and TeamCenter models for harness designs and product data.
• Conduct design reviews, technical presentations, and support troubleshooting activities with manufacturing and quality teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop design best practices, and support engineering change management processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5 7 years of experience in wiring harness design, electrical systems, or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo, ProE, AutoCAD, or similar design platforms.
• Experience with TeamCenter, EDS, APQP, PPAP, and electrical troubleshooting methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and electrical system validation processes.
• Experience designing light structural components such as brackets, mounts, and sensor interface hardware.
