We are recruiting a dynamic and proactive Health & Safety Advisor to be the primary coordinator for the WITRON Teams on Construction Project sites in the UK, on all matters of Health and Safety. Playing a pivotal role in supporting the company’s Health and Safety objectives, they will ensure that operational teams, contractors and stakeholders adhere to established safety, environmental, and quality standards, providing guidance and expertise on best practices in a safe and compliant environment. Ensure all personnel are following safe work practices and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Support the coordination of regulatory inspections and audits. Work with regulatory authorities to ensure the organization complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations Ensure that all necessary documentation, such as safety records, environmental compliance forms, and quality assurance logs, are accurately maintained and updated in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements Participate in HSE meetings with project teams, providing input on health, safety, environmental, and quality matters. Support the HSE Manager in driving HSE initiatives and improvements across projects Provide support and guidance to project teams to ensure that health, safety, environmental, and quality standards are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of health and safety training programs. Provide training to staff on topics such as safe work practices, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment CSCS qualifications or similar Temporary Works, Supervisor or Coordinator qualifications or similar Appointed Person for Lifting qualification or similar Machine Safety Qualification Level 3 or similar NEBOSH General Certificate or Construction Knowledge of project management, construction, and/or automation Excellent time management skills. Sound judgement, strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project Ability to work at heights and with heavy machinery Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field.
