Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Clinical Laboratory Scientist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOCS, 7 on / 7 off, Wednesday through Tuesday every other week Hours per Shift: 8-hour shift on Wednesday, 12-hour shifts Thursday through Tuesday Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Current California CLS or MLS license Certifications: TB clearance within the past 12 months Must-Have: Blood bank experience and strong benchwork experience Description: The position requires a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to work on a night shift schedule. The role involves 7 consecutive days of work followed by 7 consecutive days off. Wednesday shifts are 8 hours, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Thursday through Tuesday shifts are 12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must possess a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Scientist license. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with specific experience in blood bank operations and strong benchwork skills. Recent TB clearance within the past year is mandatory. Housing recommendations include searching for furnished options in local communities within a 20-30 mile radius. Availability for holiday coverage is required.
