CRNA Job Requirements

At least 1 year of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist experience required

Active CRNA license and national certification required

Current BLS certification required

Endoscopy anesthesia or procedural anesthesia experience preferred

Strong clinical judgment and patient-monitoring skills

Ability to work independently in a solo CRNA provider role

Comfort managing monitored anesthesia care (MAC) and IV sedation cases, including procedures requiring prone positioning

CRNA Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective anesthesia care for colonoscopies, hemorrhoidectomies, and other anorectal procedures

Administer and monitor MAC and IV sedation using appropriate anesthetic medications, including propofol and fentanyl

Complete pre-procedure assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans

Continuously monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to changes in condition

Safely manage patients requiring prone positioning during endoscopy and procedural care

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support efficient patient flow

Collaborate with the procedural team to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes
