Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant

Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant Locum Need In RI Coverage Dates Start Date: 11/23/2026 1 position Full-time coverage Temporary privileges available for an earlier start Schedule Monday Friday Approximately 8:30 AM 5:00 PM No call Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient coverage Daily inpatient rounding: Approximately 1 2 hours depending on consult volume Practice Setting Acute Care Hospital Hematology/Oncology Mix of outpatient and inpatient care Hem/Onc team onsite in clinic Charting: Approximately 80% paper / 20% Meditech Patient Volume Outpatient: Approximately patients per day Inpatient: Varies based on consult volume Procedures / Responsibilities Hematology/Oncology clinic coverage Daily inpatient rounding Inpatient consults Biopsies as needed Requirements Board-Certified Physician Assistant 2 years of recent Hematology/Oncology experience preferred New graduates may be considered if they completed a Hematology/Oncology rotation Rhode Island license required; facility will wait for licensure DEA required Rhode Island CSR required Estimated Rhode Island PA licensure timeframe: 4 8 weeks
