Construction Manager (Water/Wastewater)

Role Description Arcadis is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Management Team in Atlanta, Georgia. The Construction Manager will provide overall construction phase project and construction management services for municipal water and wastewater treatment plant projects, including pump stations, storage facilities, pipelines, and related construction. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage design related services during construction (submittal reviews, RFI reviews, technical guidance). Manage change management, schedule management, document management, risk management, quality management, and project close out. Prepare monthly project progress reports and serve as the project’s point of contact for owners, contractors, and engineering teams. Lead resolution of project issues. Prepare requests for change proposals, review contractor claims, and prepare change orders or work change directives. Monitor contractor progress for compliance with contract documents and process contractor payment applications. Review contractors’ CPM baseline schedules and monthly updates. Attend and conduct project meetings, including preconstruction conference and other related meetings. Observe construction activities at key milestones. Conduct substantial completion inspections and prepare punch lists. Conduct final completion inspections. Prepare record drawings based on contractor as‑built drawings. Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications: 10 years of project management in water or wastewater pipeline, plant or pump station projects; PE License or CCM through CMAA. Key Skills/Attributes: Project management of design related services during construction; construction management services; schedule and cost management; issue analysis and recommendation; multitasking across several projects; strong time management; development of project, communication, and stakeholder plans; proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management software. Preferred Qualifications: 15+ years of responsible project management; DBIA certified; engineering and construction management experience in wastewater and water process, storage and conveyance type projects; proven record of delivering high quality projects on time and within budget. Compensation Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year (actual salaries vary by experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location).
