Senior Supply Chain Engineering Manager

Description

The Senior Supply Chain Engineering Manager will lead and optimize supply chain processes within General Motors, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and innovation in warehousing and logistics.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness across General Motors' global operations.

Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of new warehousing solutions and technologies.

Analyze complex supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and propose data-driven solutions.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for various supply chain engineering initiatives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes.* Evaluate and select new technologies and best practices in business warehousing to enhance operational capabilities.

Prepare and present reports to senior management on supply chain performance, projects, and strategic recommendations.

Mentor and develop junior supply chain engineering staff

Required Qualifications:

5 years of progressive experience in supply chain, engineering, logistics, or purchasing

(any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Must be willing to travel 5% Domestically

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

Proven experience in Business Warehousing principles and practices

Experience with Google sheets, Excel, Power BI or related
