Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer

Under the supervision of a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist provides patient services using diagnostic ultrasound for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures. Assists the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist in gathering sonographic data necessary to reach diagnostic decisions.

Education:

• Graduate from an Accredited Ultrasound Technology Program
• Associates Degree

Education specialization:

• Ultrasound Technology

Experience:

• Two years experience in a high-risk maternal fetal medicine setting performing transvaginal ultrasounds in obstetrical setting and in high-risk fetal dopller flow studies

Credentials:

• ARDMS Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)
• BLS - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
