Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for an oilfield services organization in Marshall, TX. This role will support a busy coil tubing division and serve as a key liaison among accounting, operations, vendors, and divisional leadership.

Job Logistics

• Shifts / Hours: Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Location: Marshall, TX

• Work Model: Fully onsite

• Tools/Tech: ERP platform, Microsoft Dynamics Solomon preferred, Ramp helpful, Microsoft Office and Excel

Day to Day

• Process vendor invoices accurately and on schedule

• Review invoice coding, approvals, purchase orders, and receipts

• Process and manage purchase orders

• Receive and verify goods and services in the accounting system

• Research invoice, vendor, and payment discrepancies

• Respond to vendor questions and maintain AP documentation

• Support divisional leadership and operational employees with accounting questions

• Prepare reports and research financial activity

• Assist with month-end close and divisional accruals

Coordinate with accounting employees across multiple locations

Compensation: $23/hr - $26/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience

• Experience processing high-volume invoices

• Purchase order and invoice matching experience

• Experience working in an ERP or larger accounting system

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Ability to manage competing requests with minimal supervision

• Ability to work fully onsite in Marshall, TX Plusses

• Oil and gas or energy services experience

• Construction, industrial services, manufacturing, transportation, or field-services experience

• Experience supporting operational business units

• Month-end accrual experience

• Multi-location accounting experience

• Microsoft Dynamics Solomon experience

• Ramp experience
