- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic diseases in collaboration with doctors or independently (subject to credentialing)
- Providing education for patients and families centered on disease prevention, wellness, and health management
- Prescribing medications and therapies within your professional scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care oversight
- Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care
- Maintaining precise and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nebraska
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or relevant specialty equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical insight paired with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, families, and clinical staff
