Physical Therapist – Physical Therapy

Current Physical Therapist license in the state of practice. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. Experience in skilled nursing facility or geriatric rehabilitation preferred. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Evaluate residents' mobility, balance, strength, gait, and functional limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve physical function and reduce pain. Provide direct therapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance retraining. Monitor residents' progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet therapy goals. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies. Supervise and guide Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy aides in accordance with licensure requirements.
