Head of Instruction Services, Santa Clara University

Overview

Join Santa Clara University Library as our Head of Instruction Services, applying your expertise in instruction to lead this key library program. As a highly collaborative and forward‑thinking leader, you will directly supervise a team of three and coordinate the work of other staff across the library to advance our newly articulated program level information literacy priorities and support our Innovating Instruction strategic priority. You’ll work closely with the Assistant Dean for Learning & Engagement, the Undergraduate Learning Librarian, and the Head of Research, Outreach & Inclusion to help accomplish these goals. In addition, you’ll provide specialized research consultation, instruction, and collection development for two or three academic departments and serve on the Library Management Council.

Salary and Position Details

Hiring Range: $91,800-$120,057 annually; compensation will be based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
