Social Media Specialist

LHH is currently recruiting for an Influencer & Social Media Specialist for a permanent opportunity with our client in the Frisco, TX area. This role will support brand engagement, influencer partnerships, and day-to-day social community management. This is a great opportunity for an early-career social media professional who is highly creative, trend-aware, comfortable engaging online communities, and excited to be on camera as part of social content creation. This is a fully onsite role at our client’s office in the Frisco area. Responsibilities: Engage with the brand’s social community by responding to comments, messages, mentions, and follower interactions in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate voice. Assist with influencer outreach, relationship management, campaign coordination, content tracking, and follow-up communication. Monitor social conversations, trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for engagement and content ideas. Create, capture, and/or appear in short-form social content, including Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes videos, product or service spotlights, and community-driven content. Collaborate with internal marketing, creative, and brand teams to help develop content that aligns with campaign goals and brand standards. Encourage user-generated content and help identify community members, customers, creators, or influencers who may be strong brand advocates. Track basic engagement metrics, community growth, influencer activity, and content performance to help inform future social strategy. Stay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, creator trends, and best practices for community engagement. Qualifications: 0–2 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, community management, content creation, digital marketing, or a related internship/entry-level role. Experience working with influencers, creators, brand ambassadors, or social media partnerships is highly preferred. Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging short-form video platforms. Comfortable being on camera and participating in social content creation as needed. Strong written communication skills with the ability to engage audiences in a friendly, polished, and brand-appropriate tone. Creative eye for social-first content, trends, storytelling, and community engagement. Highly organized with the ability to manage content calendars, influencer communication, and multiple priorities. Collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced marketing environment. Basic familiarity with social media scheduling, analytics, or content creation tools is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field preferred but not required. Ability to work onsite at our client’s office in the Frisco area.
