Licensed Veterinary Technician | LVT | Surgery Veterinary Specialty Center Seattle – Full‑time (Sunday–Wednesday 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) – Lynnwood, WA – Compensation: $27‑38 /hr Who we are The Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, is a 24‑hour Emergency and Critical Care and Specialty hospital offering collaborative veterinary medicine across Emergency and Critical Care, Neurology, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, and Radiology. Experience & Skills Requirements Licensed Veterinary Technician required – LVT/RVT/CVT. 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred. Must have surgical, anesthesia, and dental experience. Role Responsibilities Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow. Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with the state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians. Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and provide guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments. Assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts. Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
