RF Systems Engineer

Job TitleRF Transceiver Systems EngineerJob DescriptionThe candidate will work as part of a close-knit team on the system design, implementation and verification of RF transceiver products and platforms for advanced wireless technologies. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the RF product development, including architecture, specification, simulation, design verification and testing, and production release, collaborating closely with IC design, modem, and software teams.Job Duties IncludeDeveloping signal processing techniques to receive and transmit wireless signalsConducting analysis and simulations (MATLAB, ADS, or similar) to study system architecture and performance under various conditionsDeveloping system-level specifications for RF circuits and systemsWorking closely with IC designers and software developers to ensure implementations meet system requirementsSkills / Experience5+ years of experience in the design and development of RF products and systemsExpertise in communication theory, signal processing, probability, and random processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in MATLAB programmingExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience with wireless systems and industry standards such as WLAN, Bluetooth, UWB, and cellular technologies (4G/5G) is highly desirableExperience with wireless system architecture, performance analysis, and RF impairments is highly desirableExperience developing products through production release and manufacturing ramp-upPersonal TraitsSelf-starter who takes end-to-end ownership of technical challenges, drives resolution across organizational boundaries, and is driven to continuously learn and growTeam player who shares knowledge, learns from others, and works effectively both collaboratively and independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsEducationM.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits$129,200.00 - $193,800.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
