Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Telemetry for a Med Surg/Telemetry unit requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of relevant experience.

Job Details

• 29-bed Med Surg unit with a cardiac/telemetry patient population,
• 13-week assignment with a 06:45-19:15 shift schedule,
• Uses Epic for charting,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required,
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required,
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start,
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start,
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred,

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols,
• Implement and monitor patient care plans while coordinating care across disciplines,
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team,
• Requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment,
• Navy or maroon scrubs required,
