Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration The position is for a 13-week contract duration.

Schedule Shift: Nights (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care for mothers during labor and delivery, as well as post-partum care. This role involves working closely with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and positive experience for patients and their families.

Responsibilities Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs. Assist with labor progress and manage pain relief options for patients. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on the labor and delivery process. Participate in emergency procedures and respond to critical situations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN License in the state of Washington. 2+ years of recent acute nursing experience. Required certifications: Fetal monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP. Experience in labor and delivery preferred, with triage skills a plus.
