Job Title: Tax Senior / Tax Manager (Hybrid)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Uptown Office - 2 Days Remote)
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $95,000 - $150,000+ Base + Performance Bonus

What You Will Do
- Tax Advisory & Compliance: Oversee, review, or prepare complex federal and state corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth individual tax returns.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio of middle-market businesses and private clients.
- Team Leadership (Manager Level): Mentor, train, and guide staff accountants and seniors, fostering an environment of continuous learning.
- Strategic Research: Analyze complex tax scenarios, multi-state tax issues, and upcoming legislative updates to provide proactive planning solutions.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3 to 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An active CPA license or IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is highly preferred (required for Manager level).
- Technical Savvy: Deep familiarity with tax software (e.g., UltraTax, CCH Axcess, GoSystem) and robust research tools.
- Niche Knowledge: Exposure to multi-state compliance, partnerships, S-Corps, or ASC 740 is a major plus.
