Influence R&D to align design efforts with preferred and reputable sourcing partnersYou will support and execute key supply agreements vs dual sourcing strategy to maximize resultsResponsible for managing key critical suppliers, vendor relations, and risk mitigate any supply issuesManage commodity category: Electrical, displays and sensorsYou will manage rapid changes through efficient communication and collaboration between R&D and Manufacturing to bring the best cost at product launch in the right supply chainYou will manage suppliers to the required business standards for ChargePoint, validate and monitor the business for ongoing improvementsYou will work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations for NPI transition to productionRequirementsBachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or minimum 8 years of Sourcing, Commodity related expertise, electrical category preferredStrong negotiation skills, and extremely motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a hard-working and multidisciplinary teamERP (preferably NetSuite) and PLM (preferably Arena) experience requiredStrong skills in organization, verbal and written communication, attention to detailLocationCampbell, CAChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $119,000 to $180,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
