Description

The HBCI Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the HBCI program in their assigned counties, including staff HR tasks, training, and supervision; referral management; data collection and reporting; on-call coordination, short-term case coverage, and necessary administrative tasks. Additionally, HBCI Supervisors participate in on-call supervisor rotations for the program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Staff Supervision: Provide supervision to staff in accord with OMH-defined supervisor-to-clinician staffing ratios for HBCI service delivery.

• Clinical supervision: Review HBCI clinician’s cases to ensure documentation and program requirements are met for enrolled clients. Consult with HBCI clinicians to identify client’s presenting concerns, treatment planning and service delivery, and discharge planning. Monitor staff performance issues or training needed with the assistance of the HBCI Program Director.

• Licensing Supervision: Provide supervision to clinicians required to obtain LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT credentials.

• Referral management: Respond to program inquiries; process, assess, track, and manage HBCI referrals; and assign cases to clinicians.

• Data reporting: Complete monthly HBCI data reporting for assigned county and as required HBCI data reporting to OMH.

• On-call support: Support on-call scheduling and responsibilities for HBCI staff and participate in on-call rotation within the HBCI Supervisory team.

• Case coverage: Provide short-term case coverage for clients if needed for HBCI clinician training or service delivery during scheduled staff leave or time off.

• Community Outreach: Represent HBCI in county and community meetings.

Requirements

You must have:

· New York licensed mental health clinician (LCSW, LMHC, LMSW, PhD, or PsyD) with relevant experience in child, adolescent, and family therapy, as well as mental health crisis intervention.

· Must be able to climb and descend stairs without assistance in settings not in compliance with or under the mandates of the Americans with Disability Act.

· Must be able to operate agency motor vehicles and possess a valid New York State operator’s license with a driving history acceptable to the agency.

· Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; maintain satisfactory working relationships with others; demonstrate patience, tact and courtesy; work independently and organize their workday efficiently.

· Meet deadlines, ensure compliance with agency policies, and oversee completion and timely maintenance of agency records.

· Utilize and expand knowledge of community-based mental health, social services, and support programs.

· Effectively support and supervise staff within the scope of their license and defined HBCI program responsibilities.

Salary Description

$33.65-$38.46/hour
