AsPrincipalProductDeveloper at Epicor, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions that power our products and platforms. You will partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to turn complex business challenges into innovative technology solutions while driving modern engineering practices,cloudtransformation,andAIadoption.Weareseekingapplicantswithstrongtechnicalleadership,exceptionalproblem-solvingskills,andapassionforinnovationtohelpcreatelong-lastingsuccessforourcustomersandteams.Whatyouwillbedoing:Defineanddrivesolution,application,andplatformarchitectureforenterprisesoftwareproducts.Leadthedesign,development,integration,testing,anddeploymentofscalable,secure,andcloud-nativesolutions.Contributedirectlytosoftwaredevelopment,debugging,anddeliveryofcriticalplatformcapabilitiesandproductfeatures.Establisharchitecturalstandards,designpatterns,andtechnicalgovernanceacrossengineeringteams.Conductcodereviewsandprovidetechnicalleadershipforcomplexinitiativesandstrategicprograms.Designsystemsfocusedonscalability,reliability,security,performance,andmaintainability.Evaluateemergingtechnologies,frameworks,andindustrybestpracticestodrivetechnicalinnovation.LeadcloudarchitectureandmodernizationinitiativesacrossAzure,AWS,and/orGoogleCloudenvironments.ChampionAI-enabledsolutionsandhelpdriveadoptionofmodernAItools,agentframeworks,ModelContextProtocol(MCP),Skillsarchitectures,andrelatedtechnologies.Developproof-of-conceptsandproduction-readysolutionsthatvalidatearchitecturaldirectionandbusinessvalue.Collaboratecloselywithengineeringteamstoresolvecomplextechnicalchallengesandensuresuccessfulimplementationofarchitecturaldesigns.Mentorengineersandtechnicalleads,fosteringengineeringexcellenceandcontinuousgrowth.Promoteautomation,CI/CD,observability,andmodernsoftwareengineeringbestpractices.Whatyouwilllikelybring:10+yearsofprogressivesoftwareengineeringexperience.4+yearsinanArchitect,PrincipalEngineer,TechnicalLead,orsimilartechnicalleadershiprole.Strongexpertiseinsoftwarearchitecture,distributedsystems,andcloud-nativeapplicationdesign.Experiencedesigninganddeliveringenterprise-scalecloudsolutions.ExperiencewithAzure,AWS,and/orGoogleCloudPlatform.StrongunderstandingofAPIs,microservices,event-drivenarchitectures,andintegrationpatterns.Knowledgeofsoftwarequalitypractices,testingmethodologies,applicationsecurity,andperformanceoptimization.Provenabilitytoleadtechnicalteams,influencearchitecturaldecisions,andmentorengineers.Excellentcommunication,stakeholdermanagement,andproblem-solvingskills.Bachelor'sdegreeorequivalentpracticalexperience.Demonstratedabilitytodriveinnovation,modernization,andtechnologystrategy.Whatcouldsetyouapart:Cloudarchitectureand/orcloudplatformcertifications.ExperiencewithAIplatforms,frameworks,andenterpriseAIsolutiondesign.Knowledgeoflargelanguagemodels(LLMs),agentframeworks,ModelContextProtocol(MCP),Skillsarchitectures,andmodernAIapplicationpatterns.Experienceevaluatingandimplementingemergingtechnologieswithinenterpriseenvironments.Passionforadvancingmodernengineeringpracticesandhelpingorganizationsadoptinnovativesolutions,#LI-DW #LI-HybridAbout Epicor At Epicor, we’re truly a team.
