What You Will Do:

• Perform the mechanical work necessary to install, overhaul, maintenance and repair of vehicles and powered equipment with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subsystems and accessories with emphasis on rebuilding and repair of component assemblies of small equipment engines.
• Under direction of Leader/Supervisor follow specific instructions and standard practices and procedures and use manufacturers manuals and schematic drawings to resolve material requirements, establish sequence of operations, obtain required tools and equipment to carry out assignments.
• Check to assure equipment and supplies are available and submit part order request as required.
• Provide assistance to customers in operation, care, use and maintenance of vehicles and equipment and assist other mechanics as assigned.
• Perform maintenance and repair work, run tests and carry out service and preventative maintenance as required on powered vehicles.
• May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses operator permits and certifications within assigned trade specialization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• ASE certificate.
• ASE Mechanic.
• 5+ years of experience with heavy equipment vehicles and systems such as fork-trucks, hydraulic systems, pick-ups and other commercial vehicles.
