About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Alternative Distribution to lead and execute strategic sales initiatives in alternative investments. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the adoption of alternative investments among existing and new users, delivering exceptional service to platform asset holders, and developing expertise across various alternative investment sectors. This role involves engaging in regular market meetings, fostering trust, and identifying opportunities, as well as contributing to the growth of the alternative investment industry through innovative, client-focused solutions. The VP will also be expected to maintain compliance with industry standards and certifications, including mandatory Series 7 and 63 licenses, and pursue CAIA certification within three years of hire. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Arts degree with at least 8 years' of experience in alternative investments, with a proven track record in building regions and implementing effective sales processes. Expertise in RIA, Independent BD, or Bank distribution segments is essential. The role requires a self-motivated team player with strong client-facing skills, the ability to provide post-sale support for diverse investment platforms, and a client-first approach. The VP will work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site engagements, and must be adept at utilizing CRM systems and data analytics to inform sales strategies and decisions.
